Day 01 Hanoi - Bat Trang

Breakfast at hotel. Visit ’s Mausoleum and His former Residence, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature - known as the first University of Vietnam, built in 1070. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon drives 20 km east of Hanoi on a bumpy dyke-road to Bat Trang pottery village - famous for its 1,000 years old of tradition. Take a short around the village before a stop to visit a workshop where you will be guided by the local artisans how to form, paint and enamel your own products. These products are then baked for several hours in huge kilns until become completed products and given to you as souvenirs as for you an unforgettable time in Vietnam.
