We arrived in Vietnam still unsure if we wanted to do the bike trip but after meting Thuy our minds were soon made up!We booked to do a 14 day trip following the Ho Chi Minh trail. The whole trip was great. They had us trying all sorts of local cuisine which was all enjoyed and one thing we must say is you are never hungry with Hanoi Easy Rider!! They make sure there is enough food to feed an army.

the easy rider motorbike tour was by far the best part of a thoroughly enjoyable holiday in vietnam. the scenery experienced on the tour cannot be justified by words, whilst the hospitality shown by our tour guides, thuy and long was of the highest standard. i highly recomend anyone who visits vietnam to go on this tour.

I highly recommend this trip, regardless of whether you enjoy or dont enjoy motorbikibg. The stunning views and the incredible roads are like no others and more than worth experiencibg. Thuy and long were fantastic company and gave us as much freedom as we wanted. It was the highlight of my 6 week trip and if you visit vietnam, do not miss out on this opportunity.

Traveling around Vietnam had been amazing, but Thuy and her husband Long made our trip better than we had hoped. Before the motor bike tour we were constantly trying to get away from Westernised areas filled with tourists. What we experienced on Thuy's tour was so special. We left Hanoi for a two and a half day tour with no idea what we were about to experience.

I had a private tour with Thuy for one day to Ha Long Bay. She drove her motorbike with me as the passenger to Halong Bay. We stopped several times for refreshments on the way. ( Thuy always makes sure you have enough to eat and drink ). It was a great way to see the country side. Thuy is a very careful driver and I never felt nervous.

What a fantastic experience given by Hanoi Easy Rider. I can not recommend highly enough, they really made for a fantastic motorbike tour experience. Our guides Thuy and Long did a fantastic job and when I revisit Vietnam I will certainly be using their services again. Thanks again, Jay.

Thuy, Long, and Easy Rider Hanoi gave an absolutely amazing Halong Bay experience. There's no better way to make the trek from Hanoi to Halong Bay than by a motorbike (or motorcycle if you're more experienced). Thank you very much for a great trip. I highly recommend using these guys! -Kevin August |

Our Hanoi visit with easy Riders was so much fun!! We only had 1 day in Hanoi and booked the trip 2 hours before start. Our 3 hosts and their awesome machines were totally fun! They showed us all around Hanoi and we even enjoyed the best fruit salat of the city. It is definitely an experience. We can recommend to everybody who is visiting Hanoi!!

I took a six day tour with Thuy and her husband Long from October 19th to October 24th, 2012. I was having a rough time in Hanoi before I met them, but the minute I got on a bike I was much happier. One gets a better feel for the rhythm of the culture in the street than on the sidewalks.
My tour headed north, to Ha Giang, Dong Van, Meo Vac, Cao Bang, and Bac Kan before returning to Hanoi. The first day was a bit rough adjusting to the bike (wear jeans!) but the scenery was stunning. Every day after that I enjoyed being on the road more and more, to the extent that I actually extended my trip an extra day because I didn’t want to rush.
We had good weather most of the time, but one day it poured. Long went out and bought me a rain suit right away. Even in the rain, on treacherous mountain roads, I was never nervous about the bikes or Thuy’s driving. It was actually quite beautiful and strange to drive slowly through the opaque mist, like something out of a movie.
Thuy and Long became my friends in no time at all. We had a wonderful time together: talking, joking, eating delicious food, sharing cigarettes. It was a lovely adventure: we shopped in little local markets, drank with Hmong villagers, bargained for a pig (that we slaughtered in Hanoi and ate at a big welcome home feast at their house), sang karaoke on stage at a Women’s Day event in Dong Van, played with charming little kids, saw an incredible diversity of ethnic groups in their villages, rode a boat and stayed in a homestay in Bac Kan… we even bought two little country puppies for Thuy and Long to keep as pets. (Imagine a pig and two puppies plus three people and five days worth of stuff on the backs of these bikes — what could be more Vietnamese?!)
Seriously, I couldn’t have imagined how great my trip would be. I learned so much about Vietnamese culture and made great friends. I cannot recommend Hanoi Easyrider highly enough: great company, great people, and a wonderful experience all around.

We had the best trip ever! Went from Hanoi to Sapa instead of the train. We are so happy we did it this way. The route to Sapa is just amazing. The views and the people make this trip. We highly recommend this trip or any other trip with Hanoi Easyrider to anyone who likes a different way of travelling. Thank you so much Thuy and Long!!
